Legislator of the Year
State Representative Dorothy Sue Hill was chosen “Legislator of the Year” by the Louisiana Councils on Aging Directors Association. Rep. Hill represents Allen, Beauregard and Calcasieu Parishes in the State Legislature. Mrs. Hill is cited for her dedication to the more than 800,000 aging persons in Louisiana by advocating for dignity and independence in their later years. She works diligently for the aging and has authored and co-authored successful legislation protecting the elderly in Louisiana the association stated.
